Can you use a bed frame with an adjustable base?
Because adjustable bases are sized to fit standard mattress sizes, they can be used with almost any standard bed frame. Most bed frames are designed with extra room to accommodate box springs and mattress foundations.
What is "zero gravity"?
Zero gravity refers to a neutral body posture that simulates weightlessness. Developed by NASA for astronauts during takeoff, zero gravity includes slightly raising both the head and foot of your bed for the most relaxed position possible.
Are Leesa mattresses fiberglass free?
Our mattresses contain no fiberglass. They are crafted in our fiberglass-free factory using fire-retardant yarn with a rayon barrier. This chemical-free rayon fiber, derived from 100% regenerated cellulose, creates a protective layer that ensures both safety and comfort.
Are Leesa mattresses made from safe materials?
Yes! Leesa mattresses are designed with your health and safety in mind, adhering to stringent safety standards that ensure a healthier sleep environment. Additionally, we don’t use fiberglass in our mattresses, and our entire factory is fiberglass-free.
Every Leesa mattress is GREENGUARD gold certified after undergoing rigorous testing for emissions of more than 360 volatile organic compounds (VOCs). This certification assures that our mattresses are free from harmful chemicals and meet strict emissions safety standards, resulting in minimal VOC emissions.
The foams used in Leesa mattresses are also CertiPUR-US® certified, meaning they are made without ozone depleters, PBDE flame retardants, heavy metals, formaldehyde, and certain phthalates. They also have low VOC emissions, ensuring better indoor air quality.
Is delivery and setup easy?
Yes! The items in your bundle will be shipped separately and delivered in multiple boxes. Once everything arrives, start by assembling the adjustable base (it’s super easy—no tools required!). Then, position your mattress on top of the base as you unwrap the plastic. Easy-to-follow instructions are included, and we recommend having two or more people for assembly.
Does the adjustable base contain magnets?
This product contains Neodymium magnets, which can interfere with medical devices like pacemakers, ICDs, or any equipment sensitive to magnetic fields. If you have such a device, we strongly recommend consulting your doctor before using this product.
Additionally, some pacemakers might mistakenly detect the vibrations from the optional massage feature (in the Adjustable Base Pro) as exercise or movement. Please use caution if you choose to activate this feature.
