Who is eligible for the hero’s discount?

Military: Current, Veteran, and Retired members of the US Military, National Guard, and Reserve. Military spouses and immediate family members residing in the same household are also eligible. Read the full list of eligible military branches and communities.

Education: All US current and newly accepted college students and their parents, as well as teachers, faculty, and staff of PreK-12 schools and degree-granting colleges/universities. Read the full list of eligible educators and students.

Healthcare: US healthcare professionals, including a wide range of medical roles from nurses and medical assistants to therapists, various specialized technicians, and doctors, are all eligible. Read the full list of eligible nurses and medical providers.

First Responders: Firefighters, Law Enforcement Officers and Agents, and Emergency medical technicians. Read the full list of eligible first responders.

How do I verify my hero's eligibility?

Verification is quick and simple! Just click the green “Verify with ID.me” button in checkout and follow the prompts to complete your verification. Sometimes additional documentation is required.

To expedite the process, make sure to enter your first and last name exactly as it appears on your verifying document. If your last name has changed since your document was issued, you can upload a government-issued document along with your verifying document that shows your current last name.

ID.me is a Leesa service provider, and is only permitted to use your information for the purpose of verifying your eligibility for our Heroes Community Program.

How long does it take to get verified?

Verification should be instantaneous. At most, you will be contacted via email within 20 minutes to confirm your eligibility.

What happens when I verify my status?

After verification, you will receive a discount code for $50 off that you will need to apply during checkout. Discount applies to mattress purchases (excluding Studio & Kids mattresses).

Is the hero’s discount eligible for past orders?

Unfortunately, this discount offer cannot be applied to orders previously placed on Leesa.com.
